Internal composition of the battery steel shell
Internal composition of lithium ion battery steel shell
The inside of the steel shell of the lithium ion battery is mainly composed of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte and a separator. The difference in the positive and negative electrodes and electrolyte data and the difference in process make the battery have different performance and have different titles. At present, the positive electrode materials of lithium ion batteries on the market are mainly lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) and lithium manganate (LiMn2O4), and a few lithium ion batteries using lithium nickelate (LiNiO2) as positive electrode materials. The newly developed lithium iron phosphate battery is a lithium ion battery using lithium iron phosphate battery shell (LiFePO4, referred to as LFP) as the battery positive electrode, which is a new member of the lithium ion battery family.
